Leasing Manager
Real Estate Equities has an immediate opening for a newly created position, Leasing Manager!
Responsibilities:
- Provide all customers with exceptional customer service
- Knows and adheres to all standards of quality
- Be a valuable leader on a an effective on-site team
- Perform functions in a continuous manner without assistance/supervision
- Foster good resident relations
- Train and oversee Leasing Agents on all job responsibilities once the Leasing Manager has completed the Lease-Up at the site
- Meet and greet customers in person and on the telephone
- Oversee and participate in the showing and renting of apartments to prospects
- Oversee and participate in the taking of applications and other paperwork to rent apartments
- Oversee and participate in the follow up to rent apartments to prospects
- Communicate effectively orally & in writing to meet strict goals & deadlines for project success
- Operate all office machines, printer, computer, etc.
- Assist residents with their questions and record service requests
- Receive and input rents and all other fees from prospects and residents
- Prepare all necessary paperwork for leasing, renting and renewing apartments
- Oversee and participate in polishing up the model, vacant apartments and the tour route
- Perform community inspections
- Oversee and participate in preparing for and performing the marketing outreach program
- Handle the mail, prepare notes, letters, documents, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous leasing and/or lease-up related sales experience preferred
- Affordable experience preferred
- Ability to perform essential duties
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task/meet deadlines
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Yardi experience desired
- Maintain professional office environment
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to move to out state sites for lease-ups
