Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide all residents with exceptional customer service
- Complete daily service requests and maintain preventive maintenance schedule
- Repair and replace appliances
- Monitor HVAC equipment
- Perform apartment turnover duties
- Perform/prepare special projects
- Maintain physical appearance of the community
- Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-3 years previous residential maintenance experience is required
- Previous carpentry experience with contractor is desired
- Boiler’s and CPO Licenses are required (or willingness to obtain license within 6 months of hire)
- Must have knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade
- Must have own hand tools and some power tools
- Must be able to work independently or with a team
- Must possess the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 50lbs to chest height
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, pull and push
- Must have reliable transportation and be flexible to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Hours:
- Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Rotating On-Call Schedule
- Occasional back up for open Maintenance positions
